In 2024, a major political shift in Slovakia triggers a radical, aggressive restructuring of the country's independent public service media law. Filming directly from within the hallways and newsrooms of the national broadcaster (RTVS), debut director Sára Prokopová captures the volatile transition as the channel is forcefully dismantled and rebranded into the state-controlled STVR. Amid an atmosphere of deep uncertainty, mounting political pressure, and creeping censorship, a group of resilient journalists forms an internal strike committee to defend the integrity of their profession. What begins as an absurd bureaucratic shift quickly unfolds into a tragic reality: independent journalism is curtailed, opposition voices are muted, and the institution itself begins to be run by political appointees lacking expertise—some of whom openly speculate on air about whether the Earth is flat.
