Mellan himmel och jord

Pas encore de résumé en français · résumé original en anglais

Through the changing seasons, biodiversity, migratory birds, gardens, and a small flock of chickens, Tina-Marie Qwiberg and Andi Loor reflect on humanity—our existence and our relationship with nature, animals, and the planet. Could the way humans value herd animals—especially those that have been domesticated—reveal an underlying attitude that fuels the environmental destruction currently harming the planet’s systems? Is our growing detachment from nature and all living things a primary driver of climate change and the loss of species? This is a documentary about nature and the interconnected whole, yet it carries an ever-present undercurrent of gravity and concern regarding our changing climate and natural world—and what it means to be human in these times.
