Childbirth is a profoundly life-changing event. But even though women have been giving birth for thousands of years, this incomparable moment rarely finds its way into the public eye. The pain, fears, and powerlessness are rarely discussed. Every birth is different and can leave behind both beautiful and traumatic memories. Here, women are given a voice.
